It is planned carefully to preserve structures and avoid excessive removal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reducing the hood does not mean reducing the clitoris.<\/strong> Nor is it a guarantee of improved sensation, orgasm, or sexual life. These techniques should be distinguished when discussing \u201claser intimate surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is our clinical protocol, not a promise of invisible scars or faster recovery in every case. We usually use local anesthesia with sedation, with an anesthesiologist involved and monitoring throughout the procedure and recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Labiaplasty alone takes approximately half an hour, and discharge is usually the same day once recovery is satisfactory. You do not need to remain immobile: alternate rest with brief walks. Do not use hot air on the wound.<\/p>\n<p>The team explains the steps and adapts them if there is a contraindication or your recovery changes. Do not add products, massage, or treatments yourself. These instructions concern the external wound, not intravaginal washing.<\/p>\n<p>Avoid smoking for at least one month before and one month after surgery. If needed, we extend follow-up to six months or adjust the visits.<\/p>\n<p>The sutures are absorbable, but do not pull on them or trim them yourself.
