Breast Lift with Round Implants: Before-and-After Case
A breast lift (mastopexy) with implants may be considered when the breasts have sagged because of aging, weight loss, pregnancy, or other changes.
Breast sagging often involves two related changes:
- Loss of volume
- Loose skin (excess skin)
The procedure aims to address both changes: an appropriately selected implant can restore volume, while removing excess skin can improve breast shape and nipple position. Implant quality and a proportionate volume are important when planning a natural-looking result. Every patient needs an individual assessment; a 400 cc breast implant is not a suitable size for everyone.

The priority: a natural-looking result
Dr. Aso uses his own breast lift with implants technique to improve breast position and shape. Scars are an unavoidable part of a lift; their visibility varies with the technique, healing, and individual skin characteristics.
For selected breast lift patients, round implants may help restore fullness in the cleavage area while achieving a natural-looking shape. They are not the right choice for every patient.
Depending on the degree of sagging and the rest of your anatomy, Dr. Aso may consider an incision around the areola for mild sagging, a vertical incision for moderate sagging, or an inverted-T incision for more pronounced sagging. The appropriate approach is decided individually.
Treatment tailored to your needs
Dr. Aso will assess your breast shape, skin, degree of sagging, and pregnancy history to discuss which options may be appropriate and what they can realistically achieve. The aim of a breast lift with implants is not necessarily to create large breasts, but to improve their shape and position while restoring lost volume where appropriate.
