The short answer: the price depends on the technique

Asking how much a breast surgery costs seems simple, but not all augmentations are the same. One patient may need a conventional augmentation to have more options for volume, surgical approach, or implant plane; another may be a candidate for a minimally invasive technique such as Preservé or mia Femtech.

That is why we publish clear figures for guidance while explaining their limitations. The base price corresponds to a primary breast augmentation for a patient who is a candidate for that specific technique. A mastopexy with implants, tuberous breasts, complex asymmetry, implant replacement, or reconstructive surgery requires different planning and a different quote.

Three Alternatives, Three Indications

Breast Augmentation Prices at Our Clinic

This table allows for an initial economic comparison. It does not mean that one technique is universally better than another, nor that all patients can choose any of the three.

Technique Price with VAT Anesthesia and Stay When It May Fit
Conventional Augmentation From €6,400 General anesthesia and one night of hospitalization included. Greater freedom of volume, surgical approach, and plane according to anatomy.
Preservé From €7,900 Sedation with an anesthesiologist and discharge usually after 2–3 hours. Moderate and natural augmentation for patients with adequate coverage.
mia Femtech €8,995 Sedation with an anesthesiologist and discharge usually after 2–3 hours. Discreet augmentation, axillary access, and anatomy compatible with the technique.

Prices refer to our clinic in Madrid and are updated as of August 2026. They should not be interpreted as a national average for the cost of breast augmentation in Spain.

Transparent Quote

What the Breast Augmentation Price Includes

The final figure can only be properly compared when you know which services it covers. In all three types of augmentation, our quote includes:

Surgeon and Medical Team

Fees for the plastic surgeon, assistants, and necessary staff during the procedure.

Anesthesiologist

An anesthesiologist dedicated to the patient throughout the procedure, for both general anesthesia and sedation.

Hospital and Operating Room

Use of the operating room, hospital materials, anesthetic recovery, and the stay indicated for each technique.

Breast Implants

Prostheses selected based on anatomy, volume, shape, surface, and the chosen technique.

Preoperative Study

Indicated preoperative tests, such as blood work and an electrocardiogram, and an anesthetic evaluation.

Medication

Medication included during the surgical process and the postoperative regimen established for the patient.

Follow-up Appointments

Postoperative follow-up by the medical team during recovery and scheduled check-ups.

Follow-up Ultrasounds

Ultrasound monitoring in the clinic during indicated check-ups and subsequent follow-up according to our protocol.

Two Costs Worth Knowing

What is Not Included in the Published Price

Optional or Separate

Surgical Insurance

Insurance is not included in any of the three prices. Its estimated cost is around €120. Coverage and conditions are explained before purchase.

Depending on the Technique

Postoperative Bra

It is included with mia Femtech. For conventional and Preservé augmentation, it is purchased separately and usually costs between €30 and €45, depending on the model.

If a patient requires an additional test, garment, or treatment not foreseen in the initial quote, it must be explained before assuming that cost whenever possible.

You Are Not Just Paying for a Prosthesis

Why the Price of a Breast Operation Can Vary So Much

The cost of an augmentation does not depend solely on the implant. It encompasses a complete medical procedure: diagnosis, planning, surgical team, authorized facility, anesthesia, device, recovery, and follow-up.

Technique and Instrumentation

mia and Preservé use specific expansion and insertion systems, single-use materials, and prostheses associated with their protocols. This instrumentation increases the cost compared to a conventional augmentation.

Selected Implant

The manufacturer, range, dimensions, gel, surface, and warranties can modify the cost. A more expensive implant is not automatically better for all patients.

Hospital and Anesthesia

The quote must include an operating room in an authorized facility, anesthetic recovery, an anesthesiologist, and the necessary stay. The duration and type of anesthesia also have an influence.

Anatomy and Complexity

Asymmetries, tuberous breasts, fold alterations, poor coverage, or previous surgeries may require a different intervention, more materials, or more surgical time.

Experience and Continuity of Care

The work includes planning, execution, and follow-up. The patient should know who is performing the surgery, who is monitoring the postoperative period, and how complications are handled.

What is Really Included

Two quotes with the same figure may cover different things. Preoperative tests, prostheses, anesthesia, stay, check-ups, garments, insurance, or a possible correction should appear in writing.

The Quote Follows the Diagnosis

What Differentiates Conventional, Preservé, and mia Augmentation

Price should not be used to decide on a technique before examining the breast. These are the practical differences that most influence the indication:

From €6,400

Conventional Augmentation

This is the most versatile alternative. It allows for a wider range of volumes, different surgical approaches, and prepectoral or submuscular placement—including dual plane—depending on coverage and anatomy.

  • General anesthesia.
  • One night of hospitalization.
  • Greater freedom of implant, volume, and plane.

See conventional breast augmentation

From €7,900

Preservé

Minimally invasive technique with a small incision in the inframammary fold, atraumatic pocket expansion, and prepectoral placement in patients with sufficient coverage.

  • Sedation with an anesthesiologist.
  • Discharge usually after 2–3 hours.
  • Moderate augmentation and rapid recovery.

Explore Preservé

€8,995

mia Femtech

Minimally invasive technique with access from the armpit and a specific implant. It is geared toward discreet augmentations in patients whose anatomy meets its criteria.

  • Sedation with an anesthesiologist.
  • Discharge usually after 2–3 hours.
  • No scar on the breast and bra included.

See mia Femtech technique

A complete comparison of results, pain, and recovery should be made with well-selected patients. Minimally invasive techniques do not allow for just any volume, nor do they replace a mastopexy when there is sagging that requires skin resection.

Safety and Transparency

How to Compare Two Breast Augmentation Quotes

A medical quote should allow you to know who is performing the operation, where it is done, what implant is being placed, and what the follow-up will be like. We recommend checking the following points:

  1. 01

    Official Surgeon Credentials

Verify that they are a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery. The State Registry of Health Professionals allows you to consult official qualifications; the SECPRE directory is a complementary reference for locating its members.

  2. 02

    Authorized Center and Resources

Surgery must be performed in an operating room of a center authorized for major surgery and with the necessary anesthetic recovery facilities. Our practice is conducted at HLA Moncloa.

  3. 03

    Anesthesiologist Throughout the Procedure

Both general anesthesia and sedation require specialized supervision and monitoring. It must be clear who assumes that responsibility.

  4. 04

    Implant, Card, and Warranty

The quote must identify the type of prosthesis, and the patient must receive their implant card. It is advisable to differentiate the manufacturer's warranty from the costs of a possible future surgery.

  5. 05

    Inclusions and Exclusions in Writing

Hospital, anesthesia, implants, tests, hospitalization, check-ups, garments, insurance, and medication should not be left as an ambiguous verbal promise.

  6. 06

    Follow-up and Handling of Incidents

Ask which check-ups are included, who performs them, and how pain, asymmetry, or any complications after discharge are addressed.

Do Not Confuse Procedures

When the Base Price Does Not Apply to the Case

Searches for "breast operation" group together very different interventions. The previous amounts should not be automatically applied to:

Mastopexy with Implants

Lifting and reshaping the breast requires skin resection, scar design, and sometimes the use of internal support techniques. It is not a simple augmentation.

Tuberous Breasts or Complex Asymmetries

It may be necessary to reshape the gland, modify the fold, or use different implants on each side.

Replacement or Secondary Surgery

The capsule, a rupture, malposition, or previous scars can increase the time and change the surgical plan.

Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation

Lipofilling requires liposuction, fat preparation, and different planning. Its price is not derived from that of a prosthesis.

Reduction or Lift Without Implants

These are operations with different goals, durations, and resources, even if a patient describes them as "getting a breast operation."

Combined Surgeries

Combining another intervention modifies the operating room, anesthesia, stay, and safety. It is not calculated by adding two rates without a medical assessment.

Before Choosing by Price

Compare Real Results in Patients Similar to You

A figure does not show how an implant might look on a specific chest. Our interactive breast augmentation gallery allows you to compare cases by volume, height, weight, prosthesis shape, and technique. It is more useful to look for patients with a similar starting point than to choose a prosthesis based solely on its cubic centimeters or its price.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Price of a Breast Operation

How much does a breast augmentation cost?

At our clinic, as of August 2026, it costs from €6,400 with the conventional technique, from €7,900 with Preservé, and €8,995 with mia Femtech. Prices include VAT and are subject to medical assessment.

How much does it cost to get breast implants in Spain?

There is no single national price. Each clinic, technique, and case includes different resources. Our figures are not a Spanish average: they are the estimated prices of the Dr. Aso Clinic and should be compared by reviewing what they include.

Does the price include the implants?

Yes. In all three techniques, the implants selected for the case are included, as well as the hospital, anesthesiologist, medical team, preoperative tests, medication, follow-up, and ultrasounds.

Does the price include VAT?

Yes. The published amounts—€6,400, €7,900, and €8,995—include VAT.

Are the insurance and the bra included?

Insurance is not included and costs approximately €120. The bra is included with mia; for conventional and Preservé augmentation, it costs around €30–45, depending on the model.

Why do mia and Preservé cost more?

They use specific instrumentation, single-use expansion and insertion systems, implants associated with their protocols, and their own logistics. The higher price does not mean they are the best option for every patient.

Can a breast augmentation be financed?

Yes, financing is available for all three techniques. The conditions depend on the financial institution and are explained individually.

What is the first consultation like?

The first consultation costs €100, whether in person or by video call. We review your anatomy, goals, and suitable options. Booking conditions are shown before you confirm the appointment; an in-person examination is still needed before final surgical planning.

Does a mastopexy with implants cost the same?

No. A mastopexy treats sagging through skin resection and reshaping, with or without implants. It is a different operation and requires a specific quote.

Can the quote change after the consultation?

The published figure is for guidance. After examining the breast, a quote is provided for the indicated technique, detailing inclusions and exclusions. A complex anatomy or secondary surgery may require a different plan.

The Essential Idea

First the Right Technique; Then, a Complete Quote

The price provides guidance, but the anatomy decides which alternatives are reasonable. The assessment allows for a comparison of conventional, Preservé, and mia augmentation, an understanding of what each can achieve, and the receipt of a fixed figure with inclusions and possible separate costs.
